A bit about me...

My name is Grace, and I'm a UX Designer based in San Diego! I fell into design when I discovered the Diabetes Design Initiative while studying at the University of California, San Diego.

Because I grew up with Type 1 Diabetes, I learned about how important design was in making a difference in the life of people like me. Even now, I continue to learn about its vital impacts in everyone's daily lives!

When I'm not Designing...

I'm might be drawing...

I've been doing digital illustrations in my free time since the second grade, and ran a small freelance art service for a few years as well!

...or baking...

I looove love love to bake! ...But that can be super ironic considering I have diabetes, so most of my pastries end up getting eaten up by my friends.

...or boxing!

I picked up boxing as a fun exercise activity a little while back. Nowadays it's a great way to let off a little steam!
